Stitched gifts from the heart

Hi, Today we will talk about Christmas, once again, but this time it will be about gifts and presents! Plus today is a special day since we are using the brand new Stitched Shapes framelits! Woop woop Last year we organized with members of the Scrapbook class in my home town, a “Wrap your gift session” which basically consist in bringing your gifts for Christmas and wrapping them. There are two interesting purpose with that, buy your Christmas present early and wrap them peacefully without spying eyes around! That’s why I decided to make those cute boxes and gifts tags to inspire you when it will be your turn to wrap presents!Obviously I used the new Stitched shapes framelits a lot to make circles, squares, oval, but also rectangles! I also played a bit with my sewing set to add a little touch of color inside the stitched frames. So yes you can sew them and this is really easy and fun to do! I’m already thinking about sewing few different shapes together to make a banner (yep you read it well a banner!!!!). I mixed those shapes with the Baby bear stamp set from the annual catalogue and the […]

Jar of Haunts treat bags

Hi, And here we go for the Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! How time flies almost one year since I started this adventure with this amazing team! Well it’s not the moment to be nostalgic, and let’s talk about creation! Once again (or maybe ten) I played with jar/pot but this time there is no flowers, no christmas things, no greenhouse, but Halloween stuffs!!!! So for this one I used the Jar of Haunts amazing stamps set and the Everyday jars Framelits dies which I looooooove (surprising?) and since we can’t get enough jar and enough shaker cars, I did both!I stamped the element containing the jar in double like that I could cut little pieces and used them as shaking elements! Eyes, candy cane, drops of slobber, etc. In some jar I added extra element, like spiders or pumpkin head, everything I could find to make them shake! I filled those little treat bags with candies and goodies! And that’s all! As always I really loved making this project playing with this Halloweeeeeeen bundle! I will continue my Halloween decoration using those two so see you soon for some other Jar of Haunts decor! You can now hop to […]

Cute little folders

Hi, It’s still September, and the theme for this month is Back to School! so for this second Artisan Design Team Blog Hop I decided to make cute little folders to organize your card according to the events that occur during the year! (and stay organized!) This cute project was inspired by the talented and so sweet Laurine! Few weeks/month ago she mades those cute little folders and shared the tutorial on her blog. So I used it and changed a bit the dimensions to make them big enough to fit cards and folders. I used the words from Thoughtful Banners stamps set and the Classic label punch to make little tags on the folder really easily. It was a really fun idea to make this project! Now I just have to make the cards and store them in it! I just made one little card (I needed one for a friend) using the Moroccan Nights stamps set and the Greatest Stamp-a-ma-jig (seriously how can we do not have this amazing tool), and I had so much fun making it! I hope you liked this little project, and I let you jump to Shannon’s amazing project! Have a great hop! […]

A cute personalized agenda

Hi, So today is the first Blog Hop of the Artisan Design Team for the month of September! It’s a good thing no?! Yep right on time for Back to school, at least here in France (except if, like me, you didn’t take vacation yet)! I found this small agenda at the shop with all the supplies for school (it was the cheapest one) and I add my touch! I decided to customize it a bit and makes it unique! I played with the Thoughtful Banners stamp set and Classic label punch. This agenda is for my sweet and amazing little sister who really needs this cheer up message for this year! With a piece of Moroccan nights Design paper I made this little bookmark. I’ve just placed a little magnet on it to maintain it tightly to the page! Then I started to fill it! And if you are wondering “what are those little banner/tags?” in fact it’s the Moroccan washi tape that I cut with the Classic label punch. I only kept the Emerald envy pieces but you can keep all the pieces and cut them at the size you like! Small advice, before to let you rush […]

So today I made a small project for one of my good friend who loves succulent  (who will recognize herself really fast) So here we go for the project of the day! I’ve just wrapped the plant composition that I made with envelope paper which is so much easier to use than our card stock paper. Just for the fun I created a little succulent on the tag using Flourish thinlits. And since you can’t have a gift without a little card I made one which match with it! I loved to play with aqua painting! To make those little “drops” I used the  tips that Amy O’Neill shared on #ADTTipsAndTricks That’s all for my project today, hoped you liked it. Christmas Decor

Hi, It’s time for the second Blog Hop of the Artisan Design Team! This month of July goes so fast! And we are back with our Christmas in July theme. This post is a bit special because it’s a collaboration with a really good friend of mine who is a photographer. She offered me her time and her talent to take those beautiful pictures. Her name is Emma Cadith and if you are interested by her work you can contact her, she is located in French west countryside, but can travel to Paris area or everywhere in the world if you want to pay (same as me hahaha). Christmas is about sharing (like Stampin’Up!). So we will continue with Christmas decoration, with a table decoration. As a box addict I made a lot of boxes using Gift Box punch board and the new Designer paper This Christmas. Those Designer paper are just gorgeous, and are just perfect for gift boxes! So I did resist and made thousand small gifts! Who could blame me? You say Christmas, and it means lots and lots of gifts so I made small plate gifts. You can put a little gift card or the menu of […]

A swedish christmas

Hi, So here I am for the new Artisan Design Team Blog Hop of July! The theme of this month is Christmas in July! Whaaaaaat, yep you read it well! I always thought that it was pretty strange to see North American demo starting Christmas prep in middle of the summer break. Then I remember how stressed I was last year when I was preparing all my Christmas decoration in December… And even if it’s a bit strange to think about Christmas, I have to say that the weather really helps to be in the mood (rain and cold weather her in Paris…) So I stop chatting and let you enjoy my tiny project! For those of you who knows a bit my story I lived almost one year in Sweden (greatest country in the world where I could live, if only they have Stampin’Up! there), and Christmas tradition there is to light up one candle every Sunday, 4 weeks before Christmas (so 1, 2, 3, 4). I customized those candles using silk paper and hot shot gun, and the gorgeous stamps set Peace This Christmas. I noticed that you can use Glassine Gift bag instead of wax paper which […]

Teacher appreciation gift

Hi, So here we go for the second Blog Hop of the Artisan Design Team yeeeeees! In France June goes with the end of school, so I tought it will be perfect to show you a little teacher appreciation gift that I made for the only teacher that I know (since I have no kids), my sweet little sister. She is an English teacher (and may probrably cry tears of blood if she read my English post), well her students may be too old (high school) to offer her a gift so I decided to offer her one. So here is my project, a jar full of tiny little interesting stuffs! In this jar, that I bought at Ikea, you will find pencils covered with washi tape. I also covered a small notebook with the gorgeous new Affectionately Yours Design paper. I made little boxes that I filled with candies (yes she needs it at the end of the year), customized paper clips and customized thumb tacks (only put washi tape on it). Those little cute gifts will be really useful for the upcoming year! So now I will let you jump to the next blog and discover what Shannon […]
